Hi Lehua Families,

I hope you are all doing well. We all miss seeing you all at school. Please stay safe and healthy and I'm looking forward to seeing you all again in person soon.

WIDA Remote Screener for New Students

New students whose registration form indicated a language other than English is spoken in the home will be tested to see if they qualify for EL services. We will be using a remote screener since we are not able to do the test in person. New families will be contacted to set up a time for testing.

WIDA ACCESS Test Reports

EL students who took the WIDA ACCESS test earlier this year will receive their test score reports by mail. Students who had an overall score of 5.0 or higher have exited out of the EL program. Please look over your child's test report. The bottom half of the page explains what your child is generally able to do.

Annual Parent Notification Letters

You will be receiving an Annual Parent Notification Letter in the mail, letting you know that your child qualifies for EL services. Please fill out and sign the page that says Attachment B.1 then return it to school. If this isn't possible, can you please take a screenshot of the completed form and email it to me at shanice.cambra@k12.hi.us. Thank you for your cooperation.
